Heat exchanger performance can have a direct impact on plant efficiency, sustainability and your bottom line.
Bringing together the knowledge of our expert thermal and mechanical engineers, and over five decades of experience, we are taking the Graham Hart Shell and Tube tour around the country.
Following on from the event with Chemical North West, our next events will be:
- Teesside, Wilton Centre Wednesday 2nd December
- Birmingham date/venue TBC
- East Midlands date/venue TBC
- Glasgow date/venue TBC
Getting the most out of your heat exchangers

These events are for owners, end users and operators of shell and tube heat exchangers.
The events will focus on knowledge transfer, shared learning, networking and delegate interaction.
We are encouraging Senior Engineers, Undergraduates and Junior Engineers from all the different associated disciplines (Process, Thermal, Mechanical, Reliability, Maintenance, Turnaround) to attend.
The event is free to attend and places are limited to three people per company.
What will the event cover?
At these events we will be presenting on the following topics:
- Types of heat exchangers and how to select the right one for your process
- Common failures experienced with exchangers and what we can do together to design out or prevent them happening
- Operational crossroads - how do you decide to repair, replace, repurpose, reverse engineer, re-invent
- Optional presentation by Calgavin on the potential improvements in thermal performance when using inserts
- Round tables for further discussions enabling delegates to share and learn together
- What do solutions look like and how GHPT can help.
