Process Innovation

Over the years the company has been involved in the development of a number of process innovations, whether it has been through studying the fluid flow through equipment or in the way heat transfer is affected by external effects. Please find below some examples of projects we have been involved in:

  • Studying the effect of glycol injection into Natural Gas Coolers to prevent the formation of hydrates.
  • Evaluating the best available technology, including both CAPEX and OPEX, to determine future expansion plans.
  • Studying the effect of falling films and optimising equipment geometry to suit.
  • Studying the effect of fluid flow, and developing a solution, to allow the a unit to operate over a very wide range of flowrate conditions.
